Mercier began operating in 1980 from a facility attached to Mr. Mercier’s family home. Mr. Mercier was a cabinet maker for 25 years. He realized that the finishing methods in cabinet making were not suitable for hardwood floors. As a result, prefinished hardwood floors were born.
Mercier flooring is the longest lasting in the industry. 34-year resudential warranty, scratch resistent coating and non-yellowing coating allows for a lasting finish. Antimicrobial treatment is non toxic and also helps maintain excellent hygiene conditions by reducing the risk of microbe and milder growth on the finish surface.
